1. Do I need a referral to see an occupational therapist?
No referral is required for private or NDIS occupational therapy services. You can contact us directly or be referred by a family member, support coordinator or health professional. An eligible referral is required to claim a Medicare rebate.
2. Which areas of Sydney do you provide mobile services to?
Our occupational therapy clinic is located in Chatswood. We also provide mobile OT services in homes and community settings across Sydney, subject to location, travel requirements and therapist availability. Contact us with your suburb or postcode to confirm availability.
3, Do you provide occupational therapy for children and adults?
Yes. We provide Occupational Therapy in Chatswood for both children and adults. Our children’s OT services support the development of everyday skills, confidence and independence. Our adult and NDIS OT services include functional capacity assessments, Home and Living assessments, assistive technology, home modifications and ongoing occupational therapy.
4. Do you accept NDIA-managed NDIS participants?
Yes. As a registered NDIS provider, Integral OT supports NDIA-managed (agency-managed), plan-managed and self-managed participants.
5. Can I claim a Medicare rebate for occupational therapy?
Medicare rebates may be available for eligible occupational therapy services with a valid referral. Eligibility, available sessions and rebate amounts depend on the referral pathway, and a gap payment may apply.
6. What happens after I make a referral or enquiry?
Our team will review the information provided and contact you to discuss your needs, preferred service delivery, funding and appointment availability. If our service is suitable, we will explain the next steps and arrange an initial appointment.
